How does Ultra Strength work?

Our unique, researched and tested Strength Workouts are tailored for Ultra Runners and Endurance Athletes.  Simply select a Subscription to get access to join our Weekly Strength Programs and Discussion Groups.   You will be asked to create an account using your email and a password.  As a Member you can join the conversation in our public  community Group pages to share your experiences with other Members of the Ultra Strength Tribe.

Have your own Running Program you are currently following?  Interested in adding a Strength Workout to your training?  Then subscribing to the $9.99 Monthly Basic Subscription is for you.  In addition to our "Drive" and "Force" Weekly Strength Programs, you will also get to enjoy access to our Ultra Strength Exercise Movement Video Library to see how the movements are done.

"Drive" Strength Program -  This is the perfect workout for the time-crunched runner looking to add, or maintain, strength and durability. This program is a three day a week, 30 minute strength session. It incorporates all the elements of our other programs, but in a condensed down version!

"Force" Strength Program -  This is a strength program designed for the experienced runner looking to take their running to the next level. Its primary focus is to build “Ultra Strength” and durability in runners in order to mitigate injury and promote running longevity.

 

If you’re newer to worlds of strength training, Olympic weightlifting or barbell work in general, this program allows for a smooth transition into those worlds. When it comes to building strength in beginners, we believe that a strong foundation is built through simplicity and variability…this program embodies that.

The Ultra Strength "Undeniable" Weekly Program includes Olympic weightlifting, functional bodybuilding, plyometrics, sprinting, pressing, pulling etc. It is built for the runner who needs to lift more and the lifter who needs to run more. In other words, this program is designed to merge the two worlds of running and strength training into one.

 

Unlike other programs, the beauty of this program is that you can jump in at any point in time! There is no start date or end date. We train year round, one week at a time!

 

Also, we recognize that most runners probably have their own running programs that they are currently following. No problem! This strength program is perfect for incorporating into any running regimen. However, if you’re searching for something new, the "Undeniable" Weekly Program also offers a daily prescription of running. In addition, if you’re training for a specific race, pair the strength portion of this program with one of our Ultra Strength ½ marathon, 50k and 100 mile Running Programs.
